Life is a matter of a million moments and countless seasons coming together to create one story. Each person’s story is different, but all are intertwined. Here is just a glimpse into who we are. Two common people from small towns who found each other when least expecting it. Now together working to help change lives.

First and foremost, I am a child of God, wife and fur mom! Faith, family and friends are my top 3! I was raised in a faith-based home with amazing parents who raised us kids in the church, teaching us the values of faith, being a child of God, & the importance of family.

I truly enjoy being outside, the beach, mountains, hiking, paddle boarding/kayaking, sitting by a fire, camping, baking, bourbon and wine tasting, outdoor games, being with family and friends, music, concerts, sports, fishing & dogs. Our two fur-babies, Gabby and Breez along with our faith have been our saving grace during our times of loss.

I tend to be more independent, but have learned that marriage is a beautiful thing and it has allowed me to let go of some of that independence and depend on Mark. Who needs the entire world on their shoulders?! When I think about my relationship with Mark, the first analogy that comes to my mind is that Mark is the calm to my storm and I am his storm to his calm. We meet in the middle and even each other out!

Working in Human Resources, if I interview someone or talk to students, I often ask, “describe yourself in 3 words.”  This quickly gives you insight into the person you are talking to.  When asked, I would say, Christian. Learning. Dedicated.

I am never ashamed no matter where I am or who is in the room to state that I am a Christian.  Philippians 4:13 is my favorite bible verse as it reminds me that I can do all things through Christ. Also, I love to learn about anything and everything.  It could be from a book, podcast, documentary, traveling or just talking to a person. If we ever stop learning then we are falling behind. Last, I am dedicated to family, friends, my faith and career.  How can I truly help someone today is very much my motto.

I love to go hiking, paddleboard, camping, to be with family, friends and our dogs, sports, trying different bourbons and foods, but most of all travel to new places with my wife.

We each have two goals in our life.  Use every second to experience as much as you can and to help others.  You will never regret achieving both goals!
